The nature sounds of birds and frogs and such do not disappoint out here at this campground. We kayak here plenty. When I was in high school, we picnicked by the dam at the far end of the beach area and that is where I thought the campground was. But, nope! It’s up on the mountain side and super peaceful and quiet. We had a really nice time. Zoe bought Link out to visit us one of the days we were out there for the 4th of July weekend. He is such a sweet heart! We ”taught” him how to play war with cards. He won.
When I booked this campsite back on May 15, it was the last site, or the second to last site. While we were camping, two of the sites across from us never got a camper. I don’t know why, but that seems fishy to me!
We head to Iowa on the 5th of July to get some warranty work done at the dealership we bought Miss Riggy from. Our appointment is on the 7th. We have a couple of extra things we are getting done too. We are adding another solar panel to the roof and we had them instal a tire pressure monitoring system. Oh boy.
Here are some pictures. Thank you for stopping by!
